As practitioner members, alternative staffing organizations are expected to
designate at least one individual to serve on a standing or ad hoc committee of
their choice. (For a description of
Member Committees, click here.) This form of participation ensures that ASO
member needs and concerns are addressed and contributes toward sustaining a
dynamic community of practice. Committees typically confer via conference call
every six to eight weeks as needed.
Practitioner members are also expected to supply confidential annual
program performance data (on measures to be defined by the Research
Committee). The Alliance tracks member ASOs’ annual performance to
provide them with valuable operating benchmarks and help demonstrate
ASOs’ impact to potential funders.
